Snuggling

It's been really COLD here this past week. We haven't had any snow yet, but it has been cold and damp and icky. Naturally, Andrea has a runny nose and cough, I can't shake this sore throat, and Kevin's developed a nasty cough and runny nose, too. Sigh.

To top it all off, Daddy has to be away a lot over the next two weeks. He left early this morning for two days in Montreal; he'll be home a day, then going to the Lions' game on Thursday; he'll be home on Friday, and then he'll be gone for a whole week to Collingwood! Montreal and Collingwood are work-related, so it can't be helped. It just stinks that they fell within the same two weeks like this. This is his first day away, and I miss him so much already! Even Andrea was already asking "Where's Dada?" and it's only Day 1! :((

However, Daddy did get some nice snuggle with the kids, over the weekend. The best was when Kevin was fussy on Saturday, and they fell asleep together on the couch--SO cute. It's usually Mommy that Kevin wants right now, but Daddy had the magic touch this weekend. :))

Andrea got her snuggle time with Daddy on Sunday. I know she is really going to miss him over the next two weeks, because she is SUCH a Daddy's Girl.

This morning, we were all up early to say goodbye to Daddy, and we were also feeling a bit under-the-weather. So, after Daddy left, I made up a little comfy space on the carpet for us all to snuggle in. Andrea brought her Doras to join us. She also kept laughing because Kevin, with his long legs, kept "tickling" her every time he moved his feet! :))
