SnOw Much Fun!

Daddy is home for Christmas vacation, this week and the next. He decided to take Andrea outside to play in the now today. She was so excited!

First, he showed her how to make snow angels:




Then, she wanted to play on her climbing castle, and go on her swing!

While Andrea was swinging, Daddy tried very hard to build a snowman. Unfortunately, the snow wasn't packing well. He was disappointed--he really wanted to build a snowman with Andrea! Well, as the old saying goes, "Where there's a will, there's a way." Here's our amazing snowman!

He has twig arms, a leaf-stalk hat, bubblegum eyes, and maraschino cherry buttons!

Of course, he's a bit small--Daddy had to make him out of snowballs!

They stayed outside for almost an hour (!), and Andrea still didn't want to come in. She was, however, occasionally overwhelmed by trying to trudge through the drifts. She would stop and cry out, "Dada--help! Help!" So, he'd take her hand and encourage her to follow his steps.

Of course, a "horsey ride!" is always her preferred method of travel when Dada's around!

Quite conveniently, Kevin was napping through our entire outdoor adventure. But he had his fun this evening, when Brigitte came to visit us for a few hours. She always gets him chattering and laughing. Tonight he was giggling at her because she was imitating him. :))
