My niece Caitlin graduated from high school in June, so my sister threw Cait and her boyfriend, Jake, a huge backyard graduation party on the 4th of July weekend.
This is the beautiful cake that Jake's mom brought for everyone.

Andrea and Kevin quickly discovered the smorgasbord of food available. Believe me, they made the most of it.

Congratulations, high school graduates!
Meanwhile, Grampa Rick was inside the house taking care of Ryan. Ryan was tired, and it was really hot outside, so he was happier with Grampa Rick.
Actually, Grampa Rick has two babies: Ryan, and their little puppy, Teela.

Caitlin's little cousin, Alyssa, loves babies. She wanted to hold Ryan, so Cait helped hold both of them. Ryan, once again, seems to be sticking his tongue out at the girls.
Grama Marty and Grampa Rick were here on their vacation, so they were able to come to Cait's grad party, too. They brought their puppy, Teela. She is their fur-baby now.
Brigitte was all dressed up for the party, and had straightened her hair. It looked great!
Andrea's not usually a fan of dogs, but Teela's so little and well-behaved, that Andrea didn't mind her. Here, she's feeding Teela some puppy kibble.
Kevin was his usual self, on the move, getting into everything. He picked this flower for me, then decided to try eating it before I could get it from him!

It's hard to see, but Cait put her big earrings on Andrea, who is modeling them for us.
Andrea was sad because we had to leave the party before the fireworks (Kevin was totally wild that night). Uncle Greg kindly provided a couple of fountain fireworks for us to set off, just for Andrea and Kevin, so they wouldn't be left out of the fun. :))
